Thanks Chud, I try! But it really doesn't even compare to your transcripts from your AIM conversation! They rock!

I think the use of Lacrosse or sports in reference to this supposed act just makes it a little more dramatic. It wasn't the probationary frat boys giving one more party, these were Duke kids, sports atheletes getting involved in murky happenings. Now is the reason for the indescretions sports? Absolutely not, it is a ill-preparedness of kids to think for themselves, to have an opinion and have a reason for that opinion. Was I clueless when I went to college? Compared to now yes, compared to others? No, as I had an idea of who I was and what I believe separate from my parents. It makes a difference, if you entrust your children with a little responsibility for their lives. I could go on and on about this.

Janestarr your opinion is always welcome, feel free to ramble as much as you like...if you can't tell by my posts I do the same thing.

I agree with you the reason people focused on it was because of sports. It is easy for a university or a person to attack the whole team, since to be on that team there are rules the students, coaches, faculty must follow. Especially to stay on that team!

I just wish kids today would grow up and take responsibility for themselves and realize what is wrong and what is right!
